RE: [MS_AccessPros] Ms access using SQL server

 

When i click the properties of my linked table

this is the what I have in the connection string for description. 

ODBC;Description=PHQC Database Access;DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=PHQCDB;Trusted_Connection=Yes;APP=Microsoft® Windows® Operating System;DATABASE=PHQCDB;TABLE=dbo.simple_test_tbl_2col

When I initially connected my FE to the SQL server I used a File Data Source and pointed to 

A file named PHQCDB.dsn

It's content is as follows:

[ODBC]

DRIVER=SQL Server

UID=WJNorris

DATABASE=PHQCDB

WSID=PC510656

APP=Microsoft® Windows® Operating System

Trusted_Connection=Yes

SERVER=PHQCDB

Description=PHQC Database Access

I will admit, establishing the ODBC has never been one of my strong points. The connection did test successfully, but I am indeed suspicious.
