Duane,
The form is an unbound form to any sources.

Jim,
It sounds like your form is bound to a table and isn't showing any records until you click into a text box which begins creating a new record.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Form not showing counts
Hello all,
I have a form that has some text boxes that have some DCount expressions. When I open the form all of the text boxes are empty until I put my cursor in the text box and the value appears. I have never had a problem with this form before. I have tried
Me.refresh
me.repaint
Me.requery
and the only thing that works is to set the focus on a text box. but I cannot set the focus on all of the text boxes at one time. Is there something I need to change? I created a new text box and added the expression thinking that there is a format issue but that did not work either.
Thank You
Jim Wagner
