Re: [MS_AccessPros] URGENT: Recover database window of .mdb file

John,

Thank you very much for helping. Both the options did worked. Holding down Shift key bypassed all startup settings.

Thanks again for your prompt reply, it seems tons of load from my head has dropped now.

Regards,
Khalid

Khalid-

F11 should display the Database Window (or Navigation Pane) unless you also cleared Use Access Special Keys.  Another thing to try is to hold down the Shift key as you open the database.  That should bypass all your startup settings.

Hi John,

From last evening i am in great trouble and headache.

Yesterday while re-building .mde file for my database SCOP (for which we were having our last discussions), i by mistake after making .mde file opened my .mdb file and from start up unchecked "display database window".

Although i had the practice to make a backup of my all databases, but due to load of work and urgency or my negligence i could not keep its latest or near latest version.

ANY CHANCE / HOPE OF RECOVERY?

Regards,
Khalid
