Maybe Yahoo accounts are like FaceBook (shudder) accounts. If you close your FaceBook account it just stays in limbo until you sign in again. It never really goes away.

That's what is interesting to me Bill. I originally had a yahoo account, told the email to come to my work email, and had the yahoo account deleted (formally request and got a formal reply).

Liz - You do have a Yahoo account even if you never use it. You have to have one to join a Yahoo group. At least that's how it was when I joined my first Yahoo group.
