Hi Kat.
Click on the External Data tab, then Access, then browse to the file. Select "Link to the data source …" and then OK.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a novice, so I need help as to how to link the database to the file with the shared tables. I'm assuming I would create another database and copy in the tables, how do I like the database from each computer to that file?
