I had no idea there were time zones that use ":30:00". I thought you were joking until I searched the web prior to embarassing myself ;-)

Well, how else would you do it?
Oh…. So I would have to do this by username?

Liz-
The most common thing to do is associate a UTC offset with each user. +0 is UTC - or Greenwich Mean Time. US east coast is -5. Central Europe is +1. India is +5.5 (they are on an odd half-hour offset). So, to convert India time to US east coast, you need to subtract 10.5 hours.

Hi John, thanks for your quick response.
I don't have info in my db that gives me location or time zone of the user. Is this something I can do? If so, I'll do it and then take it to the next step. How would I go about getting something for location or time zone?

Do you have info in your database that gives you the location (or time zone) of the user? If so, you can write formulas to adjust the time to something standard like UTC or the time zone of headquarters.

Pros, I have a database used in 5 different countries, India being one of them. I capture log in time and log out time as well as other activities with now(). Is there a way I can adjust the time because it is fouling up my stats. I just got informed I have 30 more users in India, so it is getting to be more important.
