I have a new laptop and had not checked the Close Cover action. I had Access open and shut the top which shut the computer down. When I re-booted and opened Access, I got, and still get, the following message:
The Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot open the file xxxxxxx It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view it's data.
Has anyone ever dealt with this and found a way to get back into a database?
