Yes it works for me but after emailing the front end to another co-worker and opening it on their computer the colors do not change. I checked the programming and it is still there. Sorry if you think "that is just not possible" but that IS what IS happening.

That works great! Until I share the front end with other users and the colors don't change. I still see the logic for the conditional formatting but it doesn't work.

Select the text box in design view. Use Conditional formatting and select "Expression" as the type. Put something like this in the expression box: 
[myCheckBox]=True
 
You'll need 2 conditions: one if the checkbox is true and one if it is false.
