[MS_AccessPros] Adding Index to SQL View

 

Hello friends,

I have a query with a subquery from linked tables to an SQL database that runs really slow. I'm sure it's because the Vendor ID field does not have an index. Since this table is part of my ERP software suite, I can't modify the table therefore I'm wondering if I can create a view of the table and add the index there. I don't know much about SQL server so if this can be done, can someone please tell me how to do this with SQL Management Studio?
