You can trap that error in the Form Error event and substitute you're own, more friendly, message.

Thank you very much Mr. Viescas. After making the ProjectID/ emplID as compound key then the code's no longer needed.  Now when I entered a duplicated emplID, the default error will pop up,  but how do I create a custom, friendlier message like the one that I did in my previous post?
