[MS_AccessPros] RE: Subform suddenly not showing data

Did you check to see if the master/child links are okay? I don't know how bullet-proof your application is, but if a user can get the form in design view anything is possible.

I am working on a database which tracks costume rentals and student usage for a college theater. When an order is placed, the main form shows the organization, contact and other "master" information. The subform shows the detail information - the barcode, number of this item checked out, condition, etc. It has been working properly for several years. The front end resides on individual pc's, and the back end resides on the university server. Between yesterday and today, the subform does not appear when a new order is entered. When an order is changed, the existing records appear, but no new records can be added. The user has done compact and repair on both the front and back ends, and has re-linked to the back end. She has also restarted the pc. She contacted her IT department, but they were unable to help her. I had her enter some items directly into the detail table, but they do not appear when she brings up the form. Help! Tia for any and all assistance.
