I am attempting to correct some bad design in a table I created some years ago. I am adding new fields to another table and I want to transfer the information.
It would be great if I could drag down a Column on an Access query and copy the information and paste in the new table. That would be very easy. However Access only lets me copy and paste one field/record at a time. That takes a lot of time.
It there a way to move date into a new field in a current record on a current table.
I know how to use the append query to create new records but I do not know how to insert data into a current table, if that is even possible.
