RE: [MS_AccessPros] RE: Final Step

 

Hello again,

I've uploaded a file (140106 MDR Clean) in the 2_AssistanceNeeded folder that is a scrub of the form and data….

 

As you will notice, the PDSR (which is the final report form) incorporates all the other forms.

 

History of the form was that it started with just one report and grew by others just adding additional report forms to the final output – so the size of the program increase with each modification (compact does help, but it is around 6Mb right now – sort of cumbersome to email).

 

Since the data columns are all the same, with just different report headers, I feel there should be an easier way for the final report to be assembled – instead of the multiple forms.

 

If I'm wrong and the way it's being done is the best, then let me know.

Ok – have not forgotten about this – but I've been advised that it is not in my best employment interest to upload the access program to an open source.  It was suggested that I make a "generic" example by removing all the company specific information.

 

So it'll take a bit to purge the specific info

Just upload the report, tables needed and the query. We might not even need any data.
