Re: Re: [MS_AccessPros] Vertical Column report (down then across) but last page has only a single left column

A.D. has a new admirer.  I got farther towards my ultimate report.  My requirement calls for groups.  I added groups and all looks good to a point.  I adjusted the heading size which caused the records per page to change.  In doing so I was able to get a group header with no details underneath, bad.  Also, I want to put a single column subreport in with this 2 column report.  Attached example (access 2007/2010)  below is my attempts, so far.

Anyone know how to have a 2 column report followed by a single column subreport?

Overall, I was impressed and learned more about the on print events.  I download A.D.'s subreportTwoColumnBalanced.  It got overflow error using the example supplied.  I plan to look into that, as well as try the other suggestions I got last night.

Thanks,
Bob

The only solution I have found for this is to create a calculated column in the report's record source that would be the combination of page number, row number, and column number. You can then sort the report by this column/field and set the report to sort across then down.
