RE: [MS_AccessPros] Adding a 'label' to a count query

Yahoo! Me too. Not only that, but I forget things that I've done successfully. Inconvenient. :-)

Thanks Liz,

My apology. I did not explain properly. I am an aged self taught amateur and often use incorrect descriptions.

That gives me what I call a 'field header'. I was planning that the field should show - "2009 - 2005". I expect the "2009 - " to be part of an expression that includes the variable content of the field.

I experimented again and this:

SELECT "2009 - "& Count(CountOfMembers30thJune2009.MemberID) AS CountOfMemberID FROM CountOfMembers30thJune2009;

gives the result needed.

Thanks for your help.
