Re: [MS_AccessPros] Access display of Money from SQL Server in linked table

Has the data been copied and pasted into Excel and/or Notepad from both the server and Access to see what is actually in each of the cells in question?  I've seen this behavior in fields when an unexpected carriage return or some other unprintable characters are present.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Access display of Money from SQL Server in linked table

I have a friend who has a table on SQL Server with several "money" fields.  When displayed in a Datasheet in Access (via a linked table), the fields show either 0.00 or blank, even though the rows in SQL Server contain values.  He has tried updating one of the money fields (mapped to Currency in Access), and the update appears to go OK on the server, but the field goes blank after he saves the record.

Any ideas?
