In SharePoint 2007, I am trying to put a link to a MS Access 2003 database.
1. I put a link to the front end and it opened and worked fine.
2. I then decided I would put a test database where users can enter dummy data so I can conduct user acceptance testing. This test database was not split, and is the same database I used for the front end link. However, when I try to open this database, I get a warning saying it is from an unknown publisher and asked if I wanted to run the application or not. I clicked on run, however, the database never opens. I can see that the .ldb is established, but it never opens.
Any ideas why using a link would work on one database and not another.
