Next dumb question.... I have a control on my main form where I want to
keep track of inventory totals from my subform.
I placed a control in my subform footer that is suppose to calculate total
units as inventory is added - =Sum([Pack_Amount]*[Quantity]) (I need this
to calculate these amounts each time a purchase record is added and total
all records together, is this the correct expression?)
I then used the expression builder for the control on the main form to
display the calculated total from above -
=Parts_Purchase_Subform.Form!Total_Units
I am now getting a #error message in the control on the main form....
Also, since my subform is in datasheet, which is what I want, I cannot tell
if the control in the footer is working correctly, is there a way to view
it?
