Doyce - Put a break point on the first line of code and when the code breaks press F8 to step through each line to see if you can spot any issues.

Curious, because that's on a form bound to a linked SQL Server table.  I just tested to make sure I could go back to the same record after going to another one.  I can't think of why yours would require you to close the form for it to work again.  Hopefully somebody chimes in with an idea.
