We have a database that tracks Emissions for vehicles and when they are due and other information. We send out reminder emails to those that have responsibility for these vehicles to remind them of the need to update the emissions for the vehicles.
We also annually do an audit of the vehicles across the division. Many do not respond very well to the requests to update the information on vehicles.
I have a way from Access to create a task or a calendar event in my personal outlook but I would love to send in the email a way to add a task or calendar event to remind them to do something. . . . anything!!!
Is there a way of sending as an attachment an outlook calendar event and a way of having them add to their calendar the task or event to make an effort to accomplish the task. I know they can ignore the attachment and even delete the event, but we are trying to do better this year on the responses.
