Kumar-

In the Linked Table Manager, select Always Prompt for New Location, then
when you click OK see the Open dialog, navigate to the Network icon in the
left panel and search for the share. That will get you a \\ path.

Duane,
Sorry for responding late. I am linking the tables of the backend using
Linked manager. It automatically takes the path as Y:\. I am unable to find
out a way to change the path of the tables to \\..... as suggested by you.
