As per my previous suggestions, the line text box should be moved to the back. You can also set it to Locked and disabled.

Since the textbox containing the IIF statement is superimposed on the JobDescription text box, it is not allowing me to add new jobdescription or edit the job description. How to get over this issue- It should display strikethrough for completed jobs yet allow me to add new jobs or edit job descriptions. Thanks.

I am now using the conditional formating to change the shade for completed jobs. However, it gives pleasure when you strike off jobs from your pending list. Please help whether I can accomplish this through conditional formating or through VBA.
