RE: [MS_AccessPros] Preventing movement to a new record when using a Combo box in header

Dear Olusesan-

Welcome to the group!

Please explain in more detail what you mean by multiple pages. Are you using
the Page Break control on a very long form, or are you using a Tab control? As
for what happens when you press Enter, take a look at how you have your keyboard
options set. In 2003 and earlier, it's in Tools / Options. In 2007 and later,
it's in Access Options / Advanced / Editing. The default for Move After Enter
is Next Field, but if you have it set to Next Record, then that's your problem.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Preventing movement to a new record when using a Combo
box in header

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the group though quite been develoing MS Access databases for a
while.

I ran into a problem while trying to create a form that has multiple pages and
uses a combo box to select a specific record in the form.

Once the data on the first page is inputted and I press enter, the page
automatically changes. I have tried all sorts but not been able to find a
solution.

Is there anyone that has had such challenges in the past in-house?

Olusesan
