RE: [MS_AccessPros] What Access 2010 Functionality Can Position the Cursor to A Specific Field

Terry

Every form has a tab index that sets the order by which the Tab key moves
through the controls. There is an icon on the menu bar/Ribbon. Select the form
itself by clicking in the top left corner of the form while in design view.

Move the control that you want to have focus up to the top of the list. Another
way would be to select the control and set its Tab index to zero.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] What Access 2010 Functionality Can Position the Cursor
to A Specific Field

I have a pretty good data entry screen. The only thing that it needs is to be in
a specific field when adding a new record.
Is that the Form Load event? What do I put into the event to position a cursor?
Thanks
