RE: [MS_AccessPros] Open Application In Real Full Screen Computer

Hendra-

Make your form PopUp = Yes and design it's size to more or less fill the screen of the machine on which you will be running. Set AutoCenter to Yes, Border Style to None, Control Box to No, and Min Max Button to None. Assuming you have a command button to exit the application on the form, also set Close Button to No.

Build a Macro:

OpenForm
Form Name = name of your form
Window Mode = Dialog

Save the macro with the name AutoExec.

Now create a shortcut on your desktop that has a Target that looks like:

"C:\Program Files\ … path to msaccess.exe" "C:\ .. path to your database"

Set Run to Minimized.

(You can also create this shortcut by finding your database in Explorer, right clicking the file, and choosing Create Shortcut.)

When you run the shortcut, it should start your database with Access minimized and your form displayed on the screen.

Thanx John...

No,..i got an order to make information display to public/guess/visitor in an office (like flight schedules in airport), it will use a big screen monitor.
On the form that i setted to the display form, will play a video (using Window Media Player control) and the form has a control to play

image slide show, moreover the form has a controlto display Running Text. But the main information is the office's schedul, for that
i've made a sub form with several fields.

I've build the application, and the office owner / customer like it but he ask me to make the application can show in full screen because it
will be an information display to public.

Hendra

Hendra-

I think it's possible to run Access minimized and open popup forms that would
have to be custom sized to fit the entire screen. It might involve calling a
Windows API to get Access to minimize its window.

Why do you want to do this? Are you trying to disguise the fact that the user
is running an Access application?
