[MS_AccessPros] Access 2000 to access 2010

 

Hi all – I'm new to this group, and even newer to Access 2010. I'm leaving my comfortable world of Access 2000 to the wilds of 2010. I just got back from Barns and Noble with an Access 2010 for dummies manual by Laurie Fuller, and Ken Cook. I got all the way to page 21 before I got stumped. Aside from the fact that my computer screen doesn't look anything like what's described in the book I came across some jargon, and something called "File Tab" that I don't know how to get to, and the word "Backstage" that I`ve never heard before in Access 2000. Can anyone help me thru my transition to 2010? I'm sure when I get to page 22 I'll have more questions.
