The alternative would have been to alter the query itself. When I asked for the Row Source, I actually needed the SQL of the query, not the query name. But looks like you've found something that works for you!

Sounds like you need to set the Combobox Rowsource to "SELECT DISTINCT [model] FROM [QRYAssets]"
