RE: [MS_AccessPros] Error fault from CSV file

Hi Robin

When you say you "edited the CSV file", what program did you use? CSV files
usually open by default using Excel, but they are not Excel files - they are
actually text files. Can you please try opening the file with Notepad and
see if there is anything different about the data in the dodgy fields?

Also, are you using a text import specification to link the data? If so,
what is the data type of the faulty numeric field? Perhaps it is Long
Integer, and the #Num! values have decimal parts, or something similar.

Please also open the linked table in design view (you will get a read-only
warning) and check the data type of the field in there.

Cheers,
Graham
