Ah! All clear as mud now :-)

Two possible solutions spring to mind:
1. Before saving the Excel as a CSV, select the four numeric columns and
change the format to "General". This will remove the commas.
OR
2. Instead of saving as a CSV, save it as an XLS(X) and link the Excel file
instead of the text file.
