In addition to what Doug has said, the name method or data member that gives the error is often highlighted. Give us the method or the data member and it will be easier to determine if it is broken reference. Sometimes the error shows up when reference is made to a non-existent name on a form e.g. Me.FirstName and yet FirstName doesn’t exist on the form.

It sounds like you have a missing reference.  Check under Tools/References in your code window, and see if any of the references are marked as 'Missing'.

 

I don't believe that the compiler database name means anything.
