RE: [MS_AccessPros] Database Security

Son-

You can certainly encrypt an Access database, but you would then need a password
to open the file. In 2007, the command you want is in Database Tools / Database
Tools / Encrypt with Password.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Database Security

Dear all,

I am concern about database security now, because I think Access Database so
simple and can be change the data easly by link or import menu. How to encript
the access database? and when the software that linked to the database will
decript the database, when the software is closed, it will be encript the
database again, so the database is safely when it not used and no one can change
the data into the database directly by using link or import menu.. Please advise
me.. thanks

best regards,

Son
