Think *circular loop* you can't call the same form you are working on. If you want form entry then yes you will need another form.

Subject: Re: [MS_AccessPros] Combo Boxes - Multiple Questions Please
Hi Gina,
Another question on Scenario 1.... I have the code from that page in place,
but when I go to enter another list item and hit enter this happens:
1. Popup asking me if I want to add this item, I click yes.
2. After clicking yes I get a message saying that Parts_Purchase is either
mispelled or does not exist.
3. After I close that I get another message saying that I cannot enter
anything into this control.
Do I need to make another form for entering the item to the list? Currently
the code directs to the Parts_Purchase form which is the form that I have
the control on....
Thanks!!
Deb
(Review of what I am doing.
Scenario 1 - I have a combo box that I want to show a list when the arrow is
clicked. I have put the choices into the table and those are showing up
fine. I would also like to be able to "add" choices from the combo box
itself and have them stored as a future choice. IE = Part Name, it will
show the part names I have put into the table, but then if I add a new part
to the combo box, it will show the new part on the record and then store it
as a future choice...)
