Re: [MS_AccessPros] Combo Boxes - Multiple Questions Please

Deb,

Are you saying that when you enter the new part into the form it does not show up on the form with the combo box? If yes, then you need to ReQuery the combo box on the form that contains the combo box )n_Close of the form where you are entering the new part number. Something like...

Form_YourFormName.YourComboBox.Requery

Thanks Gina!

I made another popup form named partnamepop and put that name in the code as
the form name.
The popup consists of a text box that is unbound to a control source. I did
have it bound to a record source (Parts_Purchase), that didn't work so
cleared that out and still not working.

When I try to enter text into the part name field, the box pops up, I can
enter text, but if I hit enter nothing happens. Then when I close it I get
the message that I cannot make an entry into the part name field and to
choose from one of the selections.

I am guessing I need to do something with the popup form but have no clue as
to what... :-(

Thanks for all of your patience!!

Deb
