Click Office, then Open, then in the Open File dialog, click the drop-down arrow
next to the Open button and choose Open Exclusive.

John, the db has roughly 16 tables, 20 forms 4 reports, and uses a bout 5
attachment controls.

Thats question 1.

I am concerned about security with this db and attempted also to use
encrypt/password....... error-ed out because of Non exclusivity.........checked
info on opening exclusive, all info says to click the access BALL and then open
exclusive via the arrow button next to OPEN, I never get the arrow ?
