Steven

When you secure a db using the wizard it moves Admin out of the Admins group and takes away all his rights. This is so someone cannot use the default System.MDW to open your database.

Therefore, when you log in Admin you have no rights and probably can't even open the darn thing. That's the way it should be.

You must log in as yourself. You should be a user in the Admins group. Note the difference. Admin in the Users vs Steven in the Admins group
