[MS_AccessPros] Should I create an Archive Table?

 

I have a split database (back end on server & front end on everyone's hard drive)with approx 4500 records in the DataTable. Some records (about 2000) are files that have been "closed". We need them in case someone needs to look up an old record.

Should I move those to another table just in case they need to see them
sometime?

Any suggestions?
