[MS_AccessPros] Re: Data Entry Mode Questions

 

Hi Peter,

The two commands have different consequences.

DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec
will go to a new record and not affect records in the
current session. Also the RecordCount will be
incremented to include the new record.

Me.DataEntry = True
will go to a new record but will cause any prior
records to disappear. The RecordCount will change to 1
to include the new record.
