[MS_AccessPros] Re: Converting Access Report to a Word Document (Office 2007)

James

As you now know, Access reports to Word docs leaves a lot to be desired. Graphics and layout get trashed. The best thing is to save the report as a PDF file. 2007 and 2010 have that capability built in. If you have an earlier version go to Lebans.com and search for PDF. He has built a couple DLLs and the code to do it for you. The great thing is you don't have to register the DLLs. Just stick them in the folder where the database lives.

Another way is to create a Word template and then do a merge to fill the fields, but this is really time consuming for most reports.
