RE: [MS_AccessPros] VBA: select file name from explore and drop file name into field

Brian-

You need to write code behind a command button that either calls the Windows
Open File dialog directly or uses the Office File System Object. You can find
sample code to call the Windows Open File dialog here:

http://access.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm

If you call it correctly, it'll return the file and path selected by the user,
and you can use that to update your field.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] VBA: select file name from explore and drop file name
into field

In a form by clicking on a button linked to a field (called FileNameField)I want
to open Windows Explorer, go to a folder and select a file. Clicking on the file
should result in copying path and file name into a filenamefield on the form.
HOw do I do this in VBA
