RE: [MS_AccessPros] Query to get current inventory totals

I don't recall seeing any replies to this question. I expect it is because you haven't provided any context to your question, SQL statements, sample output from your totals queries, or how you want them rendered in a query or report.

I have what amounts to an invoice detail table and a query that goes through and creates Sums for items purchased. I am just using the Group BY-->SUM feature built into Access 2010 Query.

I have another table for manufactured goods and a query that creates Sums for items made from items purchase. I am just using the Group BY-->SUM feature built into Access 2010 Query.

So at this point i can see totals of what i have purchased and totals of what i have made. Now all i need is a query that will subtract Manufactured Totals from Purchased Totals.

I am certain this is imminently doable i just have not looked under the correct rock. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
